Situated only 5 kilometres from the Finca Constanza, Golf Costa
Adeje was conceived with the aim to create one of the most important
recreational facilities of the canary Islands. The 18 hole course
(27 total) covers a surface of over 800.000 square meters. It was
designed and landscaped by Pepe Gancedo who has been responsible
for 14 golf course projects in Europe and the US. The philosophy
behind all his creations is that the terrain should seem to be moulded
by hand. The existing vegetation and landmarks must be respected
and integrated.
This way of work is visible at first sight in Costa Adeje Golf.
The fairways follow the natural terrain. More than 5000 square meters
of the original terrace bordering stone walls have been restored
to original condition. The view from the green to La Gomera, over
Playa Las Américas und into the mountains of Adeje is overwhelming.
The greens are in general of large dimension. The course is split
up evenly in par3, par4 and par5 holes. Hole 1 is a par 5 of 510
meters, the 18th is also par 5 with 500 meters.
Amongst the other facilities of Adeje Golf the 45.000 square meters
driving range is truly exceptional. It is built onto a natural steep
slope hill and provides three tees of different heights. To enable
easy access to the driving range from the golf course start, with
25 meters difference in height, a lift accessible with golf buggy
has been installed.
Another specialty of this Site is the extraordinary fusion-cuisine
served in the lounge. French, caribic and mediterrenean influence
are melted to an unique taste. Along with some first class wines
and impeccable service the just recently opened restaurant “Cinco
Olivos” is surely a first class address for connoisseurs on
Tenerife. It is opened Tuesdays to Sundays from 11:00 till 17:00
o´clock.
